Built for Siskiyou County

Imagine what we could build if we actually did it together.

Ohana Connect is Siskiyou County's community-first business network... built for the people who show up, stay local, and believe that when one of us thrives, we all get a little further.

Every referral, every resource, every relationship stays here. And it all ripples through this county and comes back around.

Ohana means family. And family takes care of each other.

Something New Is Growing in Siskiyou County.

We're not waiting for someone else to fix what's broken. We're building it — one business relationship, one referral, one membership at a time.

In less than a year we helped pass the THOW ordinance in Mount Shasta, secured donated land for affordable housing, and launched a local business network that puts neighbors first. This is real. It's moving. And there's room for your business in it.

A Network Where Everyone Wins

Ohana Connect is designed to create real value for three groups simultaneously.

Win #1

Business Owners

Directory listing. Ohana Card network. Monthly events. Referral access. A community of owners who actively send each other clients.

Win #2

CUSTOMERS & COMMUNITY

The Ohana Card gives locals and visitors a real reason to choose local: exclusive offers from businesses they can actually trust.

Win #3

THE BIGGER MISSION

A portion of every membership flows to Ohana Malamalama, funding affordable housing and family stability right here in Siskiyou County.

The People Behind Ohana Connect

Founded by two people who understand what it actually takes to build something with community... and who believe that when local businesses win, everyone wins.

Aurea Wolf

Co-Founder, Ohana Connect  •  Energetic Brand Strategist

I built my first local business the old-fashioned way: through relationships, referrals, and showing up with standout service.

After selling it, life took me through some unexpected chapters: divorce, solo parenting, a health crisis. I rebuilt from the ground up using Human Design, Sacred Systems strategy, and AI to work smarter instead of harder. That journey taught me that sustainable businesses aren't built by grinding... they're built by people who genuinely take care of each other. Ohana Connect is the community I always wished existed.

Afa Garrigan

Co-Founder, Ohana Connect  •  Community Organizer

I grew up on the North Shore of Oahu, where community meant showing up for each other no matter what. I carried that onto the football field at the University of Utah. Two undefeated seasons, two bowl championships... and into everything I've built since.

Mount Shasta drew me back six years ago and I've never left. I bring the spirit of aloha to everything I do: genuine love and care for the people around me.

When Aurea and I connected in 2024, we recognized the same thing in each other: a refusal to accept that families should have to choose between dignity and survival.

Together: lived credibility + professional expertise + deep community trust. The multiplication of excellence meeting consistency.

Commerce That Builds Community.

Ohana Connect is powered by Ohana Malamalama, our community development mission working to create regenerative, affordable housing and family stability in Siskiyou County.

When Ohana Connect members enroll in our merchant processing program, a portion of their existing processing fees flows directly into this mission. You don't write a check. You don't donate extra. You just do business the way you already do... and it starts building something bigger.

This is what it looks like when business and community aren't separate goals: they're the same one.
